The Young Adult Group (ages 18-29) will be having a Friendsgiving Dinner on Monday, November 17th, at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. If you would like to attend, please sign up at the information booth. If you would like to help with food, please see Hana Quesenberry or Hunter Jackson.

There will be a dinner for those who signed up, on Sunday, November 9th at 4 pm. This an evening of fun games, giveaways, and fellowship.

We will be honoring our veterans on Sunday Nov 9th, during both services.

We will be sponsoring needy children in our area for Christmas. On Sunday Nov. 2nd we will have information cards available for pick-up if you would like to purchase gifts for the children.

We will be having a Youth Service on Wednesday, September 17th at 7:00 pm. The youth praise team will be leading us in worship, the Radiant dance team will be ministering to us, and then Pastor Tyler will be preaching.

On Sunday, September 14th, the ladies will be meeting for “Sandwiches and Sundaes” at 5:00 pm. We invite all ladies to join us for a time of fun and fellowship! There will be a sandwich bar and then ice cream sundaes for dessert. Please sign up for menu items at the information booth or on the Facebook event page.

We have had some people interested in being baptized in a creek/river. If there is enough participation, we will be doing a creek baptism service on Sunday, September 7th at 5:00 pm. There is a sign up sheet available at the information booth. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Kenny.

We will be honoring our first responders on Sunday, September 14th during both services. If you are currently serving as a first responder and would like to be recognized, please stop by the information booth to fill out a recognition form. These forms need to be turned in by Sunday, September 7th.

On Sunday, September 7th, we will be promoting children in the Sunday and Wednesday classes. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Kenny or Pastor Terry.

On August 30th, there will be a “Senior Adult Day” at the State Office Campground in Roanoke from 11am-3:30pm. This event is open to all Church of God senior adult groups. There will be free activities including a catered meal, games, comedy act, red back hymnal singing, and then a message by Pastor Kenny! Also, please remember to bring your lawn chair!

The Romeo Group will meet for breakfast on Tuesday, August 5th, at Denny’s (exit 80) at 8:30 am.

We will be having a cook out to celebrate Pastor Kenny’s Birthday on Sunday, August 3rd, at Foster Falls at 5:00 pm. There is sign up sheet at the information booth for side items. Everyone needs to bring their own drinks. The church will be providing chicken and the cake/ice cream. Also, there will be a place for cards/gifts if you would like to honor Pastor for his birthday.

The ladies will be meeting on Friday, July 25th, at 6:30 pm for a “Christmas In July” event. Please wear Christmas colors or even Christmas attire and join us for a night of fun! There will be lots of food, laughter, and gifts! More information to come!

On Wednesday, July 16th, we will be having a prayer service focusing on lost family. Pastor Kenny will be sharing and we will conclude with a time of prayer for the lost.

We will be having a water baptism on Sunday, July 13th, during the 11 am service. If anyone is interested in being baptized, please sign up at the information booth. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Kenny.

We will be having World Missions Sunday on June 15th with missionary Randall Parris speaking during both services. We will be receiving a special offering to support his ministry.

The middle/high school students will be having a Movie Night here at the church on May 25th beginning at 6 pm. They will be watching “The Forge” movie. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Tyler.

We have had some interest in church membership so we will be offering a membership class on May 25th at 10:15 am in the former teen room (back hallway) for anyone who is interested taking membership. We will take members into the church on June 1st. There is a sign up sheet available at the information booth.

There will be a “Ladies Night Out” on Tuesday, May 20th at 6:00 pm—8:00 pm. Join us for a night of fun and fellowship! Pizza will be provided. There will also be salad and dessert. We will be having a Revival Sunday with George Moxley on May 18th. He will be with us during both 9 am and 11 am services.
